Brigitta Best is an experienced, visionary and proactive executive in the Intellectual Property field. She has created strategic alliances with organization leaders, built and retained long lasting relationships with corporate companies, IP law firms, branding agencies, Patent and Trademark Offices and IP support companies and helped re-innovate the IP service industry.
With her more than 30 years of IP industry experience Brigitta joins BEST Rechtsanwälte to help further grow and enhance the firm’s excellent client service and is looking forward to offering her strategic skills to BEST’s clients.
Brigitta built companies, branches and subsidiaries for various companies in Luxembourg, Switzerland, USA, Brazil, Australia, Jordan and France. She successfully acquired and integrated a software company, built a global network of associates in 135 countries for three service companies and developed a sharing platform for the associate network for one company. She also created and launched in 2005 a revolutionary cloud-based sharing software platform for the IP industry, built and expanded a trademark, domain and company name search service company globally and developed a very successful and profitable strategic alliance initiative. She further reorganized the trademark and domain business of a global IP service company including a major trademark watch software development, developed strategic relationships with Patent & Trademark Offices around the world, acquired and retained very successfully core clients on all continents and managed, trained and mentored a large number of staff members. She served six years as Executive Board member in one of the largest IP service companies, provided IP process redesign services to Fortune 500 companies, developed global sales and marketing strategies and successfully built and maintained relationships with high profile players in the IP industry.
Her professional Intellectual Property (IP) career started 1990 when she joined Dennemeyer & Co and Datatrust in Luxembourg as Executive Director where she stayed until 1997. Parallel to her position at Dennemeyer she started in March 1995 an engagement with the then called database search service company Imsmarq which became later Avantiq under her leadership, a global trademark, domain and company search and software company in Luxembourg where she served as CEO, President and owner until June 2013. In addition to her leading and owning Avantiq, Brigitta served as Director, Global Head of Trademarks for CPA Global, St. Helier, Jersey from April 2008 until January 2011 and became Director of Business Development at CPA Global in February 2011 until March 2016. From April 2016 until 2020 Brigitta has been active as Executive IP Consultant, first from April 2016 to March 2019 in St. Clement, Jersey, Channel islands and as of March 2019 in Luxembourg, internationally advising and supporting clients in IP M&A activities.
