The Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund, a special support program, is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe access their intellectual property rights. The program, offered by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) with the support of the EU Commission, is aimed at companies that want to develop their intellectual property strategies and protect their rights at national, regional or EU level.
Applications can be submitted by September 30 for financial support in the form of reimbursements for trademark and design registration and IP pre-diagnosis (IP scan) services offered at participating national and regional IP offices. Each SME submitting a claim can be reimbursed up to a maximum of €1,500.
